Frequently asked questions

Why are we making the switch?

This is a great question—one we carefully considered ourselves. Faithlife Giving has lower fees, so more of your gift goes toward ministry. Plus, with our move to Faithlife, you can give and connect with others in the church all from one platform. Join UPC Rice Lake here.

How secure is Faithlife Giving?  Will my personal information be protected?

Your security is very important to us. All credit card information is transmitted via bank-level security and encrypted to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Can I give as a guest without having to register?

Yes. Simply click the Give button, enter the amount you wish to give, click Next, enter payment information, and click Give. That’s it. If you change your mind, you will be prompted to create an account after you submit your gift.

Will my contribution history be available in the new system?

Yes, your donations through Faithlife Giving show immediately. Your contribution history from our previous provider [will be/will not be] imported. We will send your yearly giving statement in January.
